Katherine Holloway Hayes

Katherine Holloway Hayes, 94, of Chester, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 18, 2013. She was the last charter member of Bellwood Baptist Church; and a faithful member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Mrs. Hayes was retired from Giant Foods after thirty years of service. She is survived by her loving husband of seventy-three years, Naff Hayes; a son, Will E. Hayes and his wife, Janice; three grandchildren, Glenn E. Hayes and his wife, Heidi, Kimberly J. Hayes, and Brian K. Hayes and his wife, Ginger; nine great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; a sister, Emma Lee Yancey; and other loving family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Chester. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., with the Rev. Bernard Camden officiating. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park.
