Katherine Hall Holt

Katherine “Kathy” Hall Holt, 62, of Chesterfield County, VA. Kathy’s soul left her earthly body on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 11:32 p.m. while being held by her adoring husband. Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Forrest “FT” Hall; her mother, Costella “Stella” Hall; two brothers, Daniel F. and David G. Hall, Sr. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, granny and friend. Kathy is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jeff; one son, Rusty Summerlin (Amanda); granddaughters, RaeAnn and Shelby Holt; one sister, Anna Weir (Jay); one brother, Earnest Clifton “Earnie” Hall (Deidre); a special niece, Lillie Steele (Richard); special friends, Clara Toney, Tad Blackburn, Wina Epps, Sherri Snovell, Teresa Carson, Melanie Watson, Morgan Smith, Leslie McCauley, Kara Dixon, Andrea Rodrigues, LaWanda McLaurin and others she worked closely with through the years, as well as a large host of family and friends. Kathy was employed for 30 years by Estes Express Lines where she felt it was an honor to work, and enjoyed and strived to do her best every day. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
