Katherine Jamerson

Katherine Roberts Jamerson, 100, of Church Road, VA, departed this life on Monday, October 24, 2022. She was born on August 8, 1922 to the late Steve T. and Ella Parks Roberts. Mrs. Jamerson was born in Reidsville, North Carolina, and moved to Church Road as a young girl. It was there that she met her husband of 58 years, the late Walter Hayward Jamerson. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda J. Harrison; and her son-in-law, David W. Harrison, Jr. She is survived by her three grandchildren, David Sean Harrison (Tami), of Sumter, SC, Shane Harrison (Kim), of Chester, VA, and Heather H. Adkins (Brian), of Glen Allen, VA; five great-grandchildren, Allison H. Evans (Matthew), Alec and Katherine Harrison, and Shelby and Courtney Adkins; and several nieces and nephews.
A worship service celebrating Katherine's life will be held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Rowland officiating. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
