Kathleen Beville

Kathleen Clarke Beville, 91, of Dinwiddie, passed away Saturday January 16, 2010. Born in Dinwiddie, she was the daughter of the late Edgar Archer and Clara Jones Clarke. She was predeceased by her husband, Pleas Rainey Beville and two infant children. Mrs. Beville was a loving mother and a devoted wife and grandmother. She worked for many years in the secretarial field and alongside her husband in the grocery business. She was a former member of the Rosecrest Garden Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn B. Lee and husband, Travis (T.Y.); son, Steven Rainey Beville; grandchildren, Steven Lewis Beville, Clara Nolie Lee, and Travis Clarke Lee; siblings, Virginia Clarke Kaiser and husband, Roy, Edgar A. Clarke, Jr. and wife, Lottie and Jacquelyn Clarke Johnson and husband, Robert; sisters-in-law, Elvira B. Shaw and Frances B. Holladay; numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members; caregiver and friend, Montel Rhoades and the caring staff of Dinwiddie Health and Rehabilitation Center. The family will receive friends at the home of Kathryn Lee. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 18th at Asbury Memorial Cemetery in McKenney, Virginia with The Rev.
