Kathleen Kirkland Jordan

Kathleen Kirkland Jordan, 89, of Petersburg, passed away on Wednesday, October 07, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Luther and Dorothy Traylor Kirkland; husband, Herbert Reed Jordan, Jr.; and son-in-law, Sanford Hudson. Kathleen was a member of St. Marks United Methodist Church where she served as the church secretary for many years. She also worked as the bookkeeper at Walnut Hill Pharmacy. She is survived by 2 daughters, Betsy Jordan Hudson and her children, Rachel and John Hudson, Linda Jordan Hendricks and husband, Wayne and their children, Matthew Hendricks and wife, April, Katie Pettie and husband, Randy, and Lori Peppers ; 5 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, James Luther Kirkland, Jr.; and 1 sister, Patsy Kirkland Smith. A graveside service will be held at Blandford Cemetery on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.
