Kathleen N Stanley

Kathleen Newton Stanley, 82, of Hopewell, VA, went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2023, at her family home of 54 years. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Helen Newton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Jack Stanley; and her two brothers, Charles and Bubba Newton.
Kathleen attended Church of the Nazarene in Hopewell. She enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard, plants and flowers, shopping, painting, and her exercise classes.
Kathleen will be remembered as a devoted, loving sister, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her heart runneth over with love for her family.
Kathleen is survived by her sisters, Janie Puckett and Doris Puckett; her daughter, Kimberly S. Hosey (Tony); her son, Douglas "Toby" Stanley (Sylvia); two grandchildren, Blake Hosey (Paige) and Rachel H. Totty (Thomas); and two great-grandchildren, Lucy and Levi.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 am, on Friday, November 10, 2023, at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, followed by a service at 11 am, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, in Chester, VA.
