Kathryn Forti

Kathryn DiCarlo Forti, 90, of Colonial Heights Health Care Center, and formerly of Hopewell, died Thursday, March 27, 2008 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born July 17, 1917 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of the late Imnocenzo and Marie DiBartolomeo DiCarlo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Forti, two sisters, Emily Teti and Violet Iacangelo, three brothers, Edmund, Joseph, and Samuel DiCarlo. She is survived by her son, Kenneth W. Forti of Richmond; a daughter, Vivi Juenger of Hopewell; granddaughter, Katherine Forti-Vargas and husband Ramon; grandsons, Alexander Forti and wife Aliya, Nicholas Forti and fiancée Eleris Lester; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Sarah Forti, and a brother John DiCarlo and wife, Imogene of Sharpsburg, Md. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Hopewell and was a former owner/operator of The Anchor Room in Hopewell.
