Kathryn Gill

Kathryn Juanita Gill, 84, of Petersburg, passed away on February 18, 2012. She was the daughter of the late Finis A. and Jimmie M. Nicholson Hohn, and was also preceded in death by her husband, George E. Gill CSM (Army). Mrs. Gill retired from Fort Lee with 30 years of Civil Service at Southeastern Field Office of the Fort Lee Commissary. Mrs. Gill is survived by six children, Jack Hohn (Betty) of Newport, AR, Ernest Gill (Debbie) of Danville, IL, Carolyn Sanford (Norman) of Prince George, Michael Gill (Ursula) of Tampa, FL, Mildred Johnson (James) of Dinwiddie, Sandra Underwood (Neil) of Petersburg; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and a sister, Maryann Summers of Belton, TX. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home, with Rev. Robert Rowland, officiating. Entombment to follow in Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
