Kathryn Spain

Kathryn Slate Spain, 84, of Petersburg died on January 6, 2006 in Warrenton, VA. Wife of the late Joe Gray Spain, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brad and Anita Spain and two granddaughters, Sarah and Laura Spain all of Gainesville, VA. She is also survived by her brother, William M. Slate of Colonial Heights and a sister, Frances Ann Cain of Powhatan. Also, numerous nieces and nephews. Mrs. Spain was a past president of the Mt. Erin Garden Club and a past active member of St. Mark?s United Methodist Church in Petersburg. The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 10 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service where a memorial service will follow at 1:00 P.M. Interment will follow immediately In Blandford Cemetery.
