Kay Bragg

Kay Brenda Bragg, 71, a lifelong resident of Petersburg passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Dorothy Myers Bragg and Merritt Bragg and also predeceased by two brothers, Donald and Glenn Bragg. Kay worked for Allied Chemical for over 40 years. Earlier in her life she enjoyed playing league softball and team bowling. Later she enjoyed camping, boating, fishing and traveling. She graduated from Petersburg High in 1958, and lived with her mother Dorothy as a faithful daughter and friend until her motherâ??s death. Kay also was devoted to her three nieces. She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Bragg (Sue); three nieces, Debra Bragg Belcher (Donnie), Vickie Bragg Wroten (Bo) and Beth Bragg Henon (Todd); and her dear and faithful friend, Annie Broach and her family Jimmy, Steve, and Teresa Broach. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Services to celebrate Kayâ??s life, will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with her beloved Rev. Stephen W. Broache officiating. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery.
