Keith Allen Fitzgerald

Keith Allen Fitzgerald, 53 of Chester, VA passed away, Monday, December 11, 2017. He is survived by his daughter, Lexie Fitzgerald; step son, Matthew Koontz (Taylor); grandchildren, James Koontz, and Callie Pillow; sister, Rhonda Fitzgerald; brother, Shawn Gray (Bethany); mother, Sylvia Gray (Tom Moxley); father, J.R. Fitzgerald (Charlene); niece, Emma Gray; nephew, Chase Gray; girlfriend, Kathy Studdard; many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins; the Du Pont Teijin Films family, as well as, numerous extended family and friends. Keith worked at Du Pont for over 31 years in many different capacities; serving as an EMT, and a member of the Fire Brigade. He was an avid golfer and fishermen; he loved the beach and spending time with his family. The family will receive friends, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, December 17, 2017 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home 820 W. Broadway, Hopewell, VA. A funeral service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Monday, December 18, 2017 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
