Kelly Louise Best

Kelly Evans Best, 46 of Chester, VA passed away on June 12, 2019. Born in Providence, Rhode Island but raised in a military family, her favorite of all the places she lived was California. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Jonathan M. Best; daughter, Jessica Best; son, Jonathan Best Jr.; father, Robert Evans Jr.; mother, Louise Evans; brother, Robert Evans III and his wife, Tina Evans; nephew, Tyler Evans and niece Miranda Evans. Her career spanning 32 years was split between retail, finance and transportation. After starting a job with Overnight Transportation, she fell in love with not only the job but also the people. This job quickly turned into her beloved career with UPS. She always looked forward to going to see her work family. Over the years, she picked up many hobbies, by most of all; she enjoyed spending time with her family and playing with her dogs. In recent years, she received great joy in designing, painting and putting out inspirational rocks to brighten up the day of total strangers. She will forever be remembered as a loving wife, a caring mother and friend to all. A memorial service will be conducted at 6pm on Thursday, June 27th, 2019 at the Chester J.T. Morris & Son funeral home. The family will receive friends from 6-8pm. An additional memorial service will be held in Goose Creek, SC to be determined at a later date.
