Kelly Nichole Burton

Kelly was called home to Jesus on the afternoon of September 20, 2017. She is survived by her mother, Wendy T. Kemp and stepfather, Gary Kemp; her stepmother, Susan Burton; brother, Thomas Burton and wife Pam; along with aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her infant daughter, Bryana Burton; father, Ronnie Burton; grandparents, Earl and Evelyn Burton, Tom and Rosalie Turley; and a brother, Christopher Burton. Kelly had a passion for doing hair and attended Beauty School as well as apprenticing. She loved making others feel beautiful and had a gift for doing so. She loved being around her friends and was always ready for fun. She had a smile that brightened the world, and a laugh that made everyone around her smile. Kelly will be forever loved and missed by so many. Her grace and light will continue to shine bright, so when you look into the night sky, find the brightest star and know that it’s Kelly, sending her love and strength to all who loved her. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service until 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2017 in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
