Kelly Jayne Slawson Williams, 64, of Prince George, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024. She was born in Leicester, England on March 3, 1959. Her mother's family moved to Virginia and grew up in Dinwiddie. She moved to Florida for her family in 1988, where she lived and came to have a family of her own. Where she worked in cable television for 30 years. She always made others smile and was a wild child, and the life of any party. She was an artist and painter from her youth. Kelly liked to garden and to swim in the ocean. A lover of antiques, crafts, and decorating ran in the family. She enjoyed traditional recipes, holidays, and spending time with her daughter, friends, and her 19 year old Chihuahua, Della. After retirement, she returned to Virginia where she worked at Lowe's, in the paint department, where she was happy to help others and support the neighborhood families and her childhood best friends. She knew God in her heart and was grateful, happy, and blessed. She is survived by her daughter, Savannah; and other family including her sister, Angie; cousins, Rachel and Royston, Doris, and Bianca; and the Williams Family, step-kids and grandkids. She is preceded in death by her husband, Loman Williams; father, Charles Slawson, mother, Jacqueline Bibby; and step-father, James Snead.
