Kenneth Dean “Pops” Amos, Sr., 58, of Hopewell, VA, died Sunday, November 11, 2018. He was the son of the late Robert and Olga Amos; he was also preceded in death by his brothers, Dallas Amos and Terry Amos; and his sister, Kimberly Amos. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Sharon Marie Amos; son, Kenneth Amos, Jr. (Kathy); son, Jason Amos; son, Travis Amos; daughter, Kimberly Amos; grandchildren, Kayli Amos, Alexis Amos, Abigail Amos, Alison Amos, Skyler Stewart, and Troy Vohun; great granddaughter, Mariana Amos; sisters, Carol Newton, Deborah Norman, Kelley Montena; brothers, Chris Amos, Dale Amos, Bobby Amos (Dawn), Jimmy Amos, Mitchell Amos, and Michael Amos; as well as numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the funeral home of J.T. Morriss in Hopewell, VA 820 W. Broadway Ave. Hopewell, VA 23860.
