Kenneth Arlen Botset

Kenneth "Kenny" Arlen Botset, 33, of Chester, VA, passed away Saturday, July 8, 2023. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Eileen Gatz. He is survived by his parents, Matt and Diana Botset; son, Gavin Botset-Starr; siblings, Jonathan Botset and wife, Jill, Cody Botset and wife, Nicole, and Alyssa Botset; grandparents, Richard and Marsha Botset, and Robert Gatz and wife, Ann; uncles, Mark Botset and wife, Julie, Michael Botset and wife, Tracy, Tim Botset and wife, Cindy, and Doug Gatz and wife, Anna; aunts, Cindy Childs and husband, Ron, and Cathy Kaufman and husband, Ed; as well as numerous extended family and friends. Kenny was a graduate of Thomas Dale High School. He enjoyed anything outdoors, animals, and playing games with his family. More than anything, he loved spending time with his son Gavin. The family will receive friends Tuesday, July 11, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son - Chester Chapel, 3050 W. Hundred Rd., Chester, VA 23831. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Chester Christian Church, 4330 Curtis St., Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Chesterfield Food Bank Outreach Center.
