Kenneth Peter Brunson, Sr.

Kenneth Peter Brunson, Sr., 67, passed away on September 15, 2022. Kenneth was preceded in death by his mother, Addie Mae Branton; and his brother, Eddie Brunson, Sr. Born in Greensboro, North Carolina, he was raised in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Kenneth served honorably in the United States Army and enjoyed bowling in his free time. Kenneth is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Ursula E. Brunson; sons, Kenneth Brunson, Jr., Joshua Sootoo, and Benjamin Sootoo; daughters, Delila Sootoo, Priscilla Sootoo, Jennifer Sootoo, and Jacqueline; grandchildren, Jaliya, Jailyn, Jeremiah, Jovanna, and Kyori; siblings, Wanda, Willie, and Roger; and nephews, Albert, Shawn, Michael, and Eddie, Jr. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, from 11 AM-12 PM, at J.T. Morriss & Son - Petersburg Chapel, 103 S. Adams Street, Petersburg, where a funeral service will be held at 12 PM, in the chapel.
