Kenneth Ray Carter

Kenneth Ray Carter, 49, of McKenney passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2020. Born December 16, 1970, he was the son of Bonnie Lynn Carter and the late Kenneth Eugene Carter. After 20 years of dedicated service to his country, Kenneth retired from the United States Navy. He enjoyed his time working for Enterprise Holding for 5 years and recently started gardening, which he very much appreciated. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Roisin Carter; mother, Bonnie Carter and husband, Mike; brother, John Carter and wife, Sarah; sister, Janet Porter and husband, Gene; and numerous nieces, nephews and many other extended family members. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss Funeral Homes, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, N. Dinwiddie, Virginia 23803.
