Kenneth Edward Croft, Sr., 87, of Petersburg, VA, died Sunday, April 10, 2016. Born in Rosiclare, IL, he was the son of the late Orbie B. and Mary Willis Croft. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a self-employed building contractor. Mr. Croft is survived by his daughter, Carolyn C. Vaughan (Hugh) of Virginia Beach, VA; sons, K. Edward Croft (Cindy) of Dinwiddie, VA, and Thomas B Croft of Henrico, VA; sister-in-law, Betty Croft of Marion, KY; nephew, Donald Croft of Marion, KY. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg, VA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cherokee Nation $100 million health care initiative via cherokee.org. Services are under the direction of the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
