Kenneth Wayne Hoverstock

Kenneth "Wayne" Hoverstock, 75, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Sherman Lester Hoverstock and Christine Collins Hoverstock. He was also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nellie Soloe Hoverstock; and brother, Henry Hoverstock.

Wayne worked as a farmer his entire career. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was full of knowledge and enjoyed passing along what he knew to his family and friends. Wayne will forever be remembered as a kind hearted man and he will be dearly missed.

He is survived by daughter, Angela Dalton (Joseph); sons, Preston Lee Horton and Michael Ray Horton; grandchildren, Andrew Dalton, Joshua Dalton, Naomie Renee Horton, Daniel Horton, and Glen Horton; six great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Rowanta Methodist Church Cemetery, 16118 Old Stage Road, Carson, VA 23830. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
