Kenneth Leon Priode

Kenneth L. Priode, 65, of Prince George, VA, died on June 21, 2024. Born in Hampton, VA, he was raised in Hampton before moving to Chester, VA at an early age. He was the son of James C. Priode (Brenda) and the late Shelby Hall Reese. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Barbara Vinsh Priode; daughter, Antonia Priode; sister, Cheryl Price (Mike); and brother, Jeff Priode (Sherry); as well as several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Joseph L. Priode.

Kenneth worked in the construction field (IPK Construction and Priode Construction Co.) most of his life before retiring from Perdue Farms, Inc. as a diesel mechanic in 2019. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting with his family and club members and recently fishing and cruising on Lake Gaston. He enjoyed woodworking, tinkering, and grilling for family and friends for many birthday parties and holidays.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 6616 Boydton Plank Road, Dinwiddie. A service will be conducted the following day, Thursday, June 27, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
