Kenneth Lawrence Williams

Kenneth Lawrence Williams, 90, of Dinwiddie, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2019 at his home. Born in Dinwiddie, VA he was the son of the late Leo R. and Bertha D. Williams. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Leo E. Williams (Alease); a sister, Audrey W. Brooks (Royal); and a nephew, L. E. Williams. Mr. Williams was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked as a master plumber his entire career and retired from Fort Lee Post Engineers. He was a long-time member of West End Baptist Church and member of Blandford Lodge No. 3 A.F. & A.M. In his spare time he enjoyed restoring Volkswagens and boating on the water. He will be dearly missed. He is survived by his daughter, Vickie W. Spivey (Danny); grandson, James L. Spivey (Virginia “Gin”); great-grandchildren, Tyler D. Spivey, Jordan Doughtie, Graysen Doughtie, and Aaron Doughtie; and nephew, Joel Williams (Linda). The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, March 4, 2019 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at West End Baptist Church, 6506 Boydton Plank Rd. N. Dinwiddie, VA 23803. Interment will follow at Blandford Cemetery.
