Ret. Major USA Kenneth H. Windsor, age 92, of Chester, passed away on Friday, January 14, 2011 at his residence. He was the son of the late Irvin and Elsie O. Webster Windsor. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, retiring after 20 years of dedicated service. He served with the expeditionary forces in Greenland, was a purchasing contractor for the Defense General Supply Center, retiring after 20 years of service. He was a member of St. Johnâ??s Episcopal Church for over 40 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia Davis Windsor, two daughters, Sharon A. Hamlin and Kristine V. Hughes and husband Harry, son Jay W. Windsor and wife Lynn, six granddaughters and six great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of the J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 6 â?? 8 p.m. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at St. Johns Episcopal Church, Chester, Virginia at 11 a.m. with Rev.
