Kerry Tucker

Kerry Powell Tucker, age 58, of Spring Grove, VA, died on Saturday, August 23, 2008. He was born in Petersburg, VA, the son of the late Lewis B. and Mazel Powell Tucker. Mr. Tucker was also preceded in death by his brother, Brian Tucker and a daughter-in-law, Lan Wood. He was retired from Honeywell after 35 years of service. Mr. Tucker is survived by his wife, Brenda Tucker; Children, Kevin Tucker and wife Christina, and Shelia Hardy and husband Donnie; step-children, Tony Peterson and wife Tomeka, Joseph Wood and wife Donna, and Thomas Wood; grandchildren, Bethany Fitzke, Abigail Tucker, Kylie Tucker, Matthew Wood, Clarissa Wood, Brittany Wood, Joseph Wood, Jr., Austin Wood, Aureiana Peterson, T. J. Peterson, Michael Wood, and David Wood; and brothers, Friend Tucker and fiancé Rita Henshaw and Patrick Tucker and wife Peggy. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Petersburg, on Tuesday, August 26, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. Graveside funeral services will follow on Wednesday, August 27, at 2 p.m. in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
