Kevan S. Farrish, 50, of Dinwiddie, passed away on May 10, 2011. He was preceded in death by his older brother, Keith Farrish, this past November, and his beloved grandmother, Artie Williams. He is survived by his parents, Horace Snead and Mary Frances Williams Farrish, of Dinwiddie; a son, Devan G. Farrish of Dinwiddie; daughter, Victoria M. Davis and husband, Michael Jr. of Ford; granddaughter, Charleigh G. Davis of Ford; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kevan was a caring and compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand. He had a deep love for animals his whole life. Kevan was a great conversationalist, an avid walker, and he loved to fish. He worked for Little Oil Company as a truck driver and salesman for several years in partner with his father. Kevan died from an aggressive form of cancer about 3 months after being diagnosed. He was very loved by his family and will be greatly missed. A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, May 13th at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park, Prince George.
