Ki "Peter" Hoon Yeon

Peter "Ki Hoon" Yeon, 57, of Hopewell, Virginia, has finally found rest and peace at the end of an amazing journey on January 29th, 2018.
Peter is survived by his wife Jessica of 29 years, daughter Priscilla Yeon, sons John and Joseph Yeon. Brother, sisters , and many loving friends, nieces, nephews and extended family. Peter was a loving Christian, husband, father, and friend to all.
Peter was an ordained minister, graduated from San Jose Christian College. He was an avid reader with a thirst for all things new. Curious with a healthy dose of humor. His belly filled laughs could be heard from all rooms in the house. Sarcastic and witty jibes were his specialty and he had a love for Korean food, especially my Mom's cooking (Kimcheegea was his specialty). If we can take away a memory from today let it be known that he lived a life full of love and laughter, and a passion for Christ. Knowing he is in Heaven is a comfort he has left behind.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 6:00 PM at J.T. Morris & Son Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 31st, 2018. Funeral services for Peter will be a Hopewell Chapel in Hopewell on Wednesday, January 31st from 6:00 to 7:00 PM. Peter was a free spirit and abhorred the thought of being buried underground. Peter expressed his wish to be cremated and his ash's spread from a high point overlooking the ocean.
