Kimberly Dawn Barlow Cook, age 45, of Church Road, VA, went to be with Jesus on Friday, February 10, 2017. Born September 9, 1971 in Staunton, VA, Kim was a graduate of Riverheads High School in Greenville, VA and the Staunton School of Cosmetology. She worked as a barber and beautician in Staunton and in Petersburg after relocating to the area. She was known for her love of family and others, her smile, and her ability to make people laugh. Kim is survived by her husband, David Wayne Cook daughters, Hannah Cook and Abagail Cook; mother and step-father, Patricia Ann and James Lambert; step-father, David Coffey; brother, Duane Barlow and wife, Joanna of Staunton. She is also survived by her forever friend and first cousin, Michelle Stullenburg; step-sister, Evelyn Huffman; step-brothers, James Lambert, Jr. and Joshua Lambert, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred Barlow and all of her grandparents. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T.
