Larry Ryland New, Jr.

Larry Ryland New, Jr. 52, of Chesterfield, VA., passed away, Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
He is preceded in death by his uncles, Corey New and Moncie Gibson.
Larry graduated from VCU in 1991 and was a Richmond City Police Officer for 27 years, and he was an avid horror movie buff.
He is survived by his wife, Melissa Lawton New; children, Jared Evan New and Braeden Parker New; sister, Tammy New Hallstein (Keith); brother, Kurt New; parents, Larry and Lois New; nephew, Kyle Hallstein; as well as numerous extended family and friends.
A service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at The Heights Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to BlueHelp.org/donate.
