Larry Francis Rhodes

Larry Francis Rhodes, 66, of S. Prince George, passed away on Monday, November 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Margaret Procise Rhodes. Larry was a lifetime member and served over 50 years with Southside Virginia Emergency Crew. He graduated in 1969 from Petersburg High School and retired from Verizon after 30 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Linda L. Rhodes; four brothers, Claiborne Rhodes, Jim Rhodes, Ken Rhodes, and Charles Rhodes; sister, Christine Williams; and two stepsons, Dustin Colvin and Matt Colvin. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Thursday, November 17, 2016 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Southlawn Memorial Park.
