Larry Gene Riddle

Larry Gene Riddle, 71, of Disputanta, passed away on Friday, June 9, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Edward Riddle, Sr. and Minnie Harrison Riddle; and six siblings. He was an avid hunter and White Sox fan enjoyed gardening and going out to eat. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the light of his life. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Smiley Riddle; daughter, Denise R. Covington and husband, Michael; grandchildren, Rachel Covington and Ben Covington; brother, Clifton Edward Riddle, Jr., and wife, Ethel; sister, Joan R. Rodgers; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 13, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 1:00 P.M., at Martin’s Brandon Episcopal Church Cemetery, 18721 James River Drive, Disputanta, VA 23842.
