Larry Dean Williamson

Larry Dean Williamson, 51, of Chesterfield County, VA, formerly of Oceana, WV, died Wednesday, July 27, 2016. He was born March 25, 1965, in Logan, WV. He was an electrician who worked at several Chesterfield companies. He was a 1981 graduate of Oceana High School and attended Wyoming County Trade School. He is survived by his son, Justin (Amy Rigney) Williamson and one granddaughter, Kailey Renee, of Fieldale, VA; two sisters, Marcella Williamson of Sutherland, VA, and Estelene (Matt) Boratenski of Glenwood MD; one brother, Michael (Alyce) Williamson of Daniels, WV; five nieces and nephews, Jeremy Parenti of North Dinwiddie, VA, Ashley Minter of Bethesda, MD, McKenna Williamson of Daniels, and Sidney and Camden Williamson of Chesterfield; the mother of his son, Loretta Bowman of Bassett, VA; and numerous extended family members in VA and WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Naomi Prichard Williamson, and one brother, Gary Dale Williamson. Following cremation, a graveside service for family is planned at the Williamson Cemetery in Wayne County, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you extend prayers for victims of drug addiction and their families.
