Larry Wood

Larry Stephen Wood, 55, of Petersburg, passed away Sunday, June 8, 2008. Born in Richmond, he was the son of Hugh Vincent Wood, Sr. and the late Constance Hay Wood. Larry loved to fish, spend time at the ocean, and care for his animals. In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife, Betsy P. Wood; sisters, Kathy Brackin (Tom) of Houston, TX and Terry Johnson (Mike) of Richmond; brother, Hugh V. Wood, Jr. (Jan) of Powhatan; father-in-law, Woodrow Perkinson of Petersburg; and his dogs, Sonny, Chris, and Tabitha. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:30 PM Wednesday, June 11, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
