Laura Duncan

Laura Sutphin Duncan, 86, of Chester, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2012. She was a lifetime member of Southern Knights Cruisers, Inc. and the Oldies but Goodies Car Club. Mrs. Duncan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. Mrs. Duncan is preceded by her husband, Walter Duncan; parents, Jefferson L. and Ida Nester Sutphin; son, Wally Duncan; six brothers; and two sisters. She is survived by a daughter, Gayle Livingston and husband John; son, Rick Duncan and fiancé Cheryl Rackley; grandchildren, Sherri Carmony and husband Darryl, Andria Dender and husband Mike, Sasha Rackley, and Kimberly Livingston; great-grandchildren, Justin Duncan, Hailey Carmony, Lily Dender, Karina Livingston, and Kristian Livingston; brother-in-law, William Duncan and wife Frances; and other loving family and friends. A funeral service will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.
