Lawrence Jay Bloom

Lawrence Jay Bloom, 52, of Chesterfield, VA died Wednesday, October 18, 2017. Born in Petersburg, VA, he was the son of the late Allan Selig Bloom and Elinor Bloom Marshall. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, George C. Marshall. Larry graduated from Christchurch School and attended Greensboro College. He was the owner of Bloom Brothers Furniture. He is survived by his children, Anna Morgan Bloom, Aaron Taylor Bloom and Ryan Carter Bloom; his former spouse, Constance L. Lubman; brothers, Arthur L. Bloom, his wife Mindy and daughter, and Stephen M. Bloom and children; a special aunt and uncle, Elise and Irving Scherr and family. A funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm Sunday, October 22nd at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son. Interment will be private.
