Lawrence B Squires

Lawrence B. Squires, 66, of Sutherland, VA, peacefully passed on Dec. 7, 2021 and is in the hands of our Heavenly Father. He is preceded in death by his amazing parents, Bob and Ellen Squires, who raised the extraordinary man he was. He is survived by his loving wife and soulmate of 31 years, Debbie Squires; his daughter, Jamie Prindes (Eric); his beloved granddaughter, Chloe Prindes; his beloved brothers, Randy Goodfellow and Jim Squires; and his many pets and horses. Larry was preceded in death by his son, Jarriod Friedline, and brother, Tom Squires. He retired from Philip Morris and Sonoco Packaging. Larry was an avid model airplane collector and pilot. He loved all things outdoors, like riding his motorcycles, watercrafts, ATVs, and model boat racing. In his retirement, he enjoyed learning how to ride and care for his horses, teaching his granddaughter to play the guitar and drive various farm equipment. The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Dale Memorial Park, located at 10201 Newbys Bridge Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832.
