Leah "Weezie" Lousie Goodman Durance

Leah “Weezie” Louise Goodman Durance, 81, of Chester, went to be with her Lord on Monday, July 26, 2021. She was the daughter of Leah Vivian Goodman and David Boyce Goodman. Louise was a graduate of Prince George County High School and worked for many years at Gray’s Drug Store in Petersburg, Virginia. Louise was a longtime member of Swift Creek Baptist Church in Colonial Heights.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and one sister, Mildred Goodrich.
Louise is survived by one sister, Lois Goodman Comer (Roger); stepson, Dennis Durance; and many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 1-hour prior from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
