Leann Dillon Davis

Leann Dillon Davis, 58, of Glen Allen, left this earthly home to continue her spiritual flight on Monday, March 7, 2016. She was born on Friday, September 13, 1957, in Petersburg, Virginia. She is survived by two daughters, Shanna Lee Weir and Laura Ashley Weir; brother, Bernard Dewain Davis; niece Stacy Lee Davis; and numerous relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Launa Mae Dillon Davis and Bernard Lafayette Davis. She was a career Federal Department of Defense employee –first with the U.S. Army and then the U.S. Marine Corps assisting in officer recruiting. She so enjoyed loving and looking after those she deeply cared about. Her hobbies included cooking, entertaining, listening to good music, dancing, reading, collecting junk/treasures, but most importantly making a warm, welcome home. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 11, 2016 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Blandford Cemetery, Petersburg.
