Lee King

Lee King, 79, of Ford, passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother; a sister; and a grandson. Mrs. King was a member of New Covenant Church of the Brethren where she was a member of the Tea Kettles. She enjoyed exercising at Curves and with the Silver Sneakers group. She is survived by her two daughters; a son; three grandchildren; three brothers and a sister. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at New Covenant Church of the Brethren, 1611 Point of Rocks Road, Chester, VA 23836. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Covenant Church of the Brethren. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
