Leila Christine Brieling

Leila Christine Brieling, 61, of Ford, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 28, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, James R. Wilson; her siblings, Roberta Summamal, Diane Weisheim, Edna Wilson, and Joyce Johnson; and grandmother, Flora Kelly.
She is survived by her beloved husband, George A. Brieling, Sr.; son, George A. Brieling, Jr.; daughter, Joan Jeannette Brieling; grandchildren, Anthony Fleshman, Timothy Fleshman, Edward Fleshman, Savannah Fleshman, Christopher Clark, and Michael Metheny; mother, Frances Wilson; and brother, Robert Wilson.
Leila Brieling was employed as Secretary with Dinwiddie High School for many years. She enjoyed going fishing and watching her son drag race with her husband. She especially enjoyed working in her garden and tending to the flowers. She will be dearly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one-hour prior from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
