Leila Gale Hayzlett

Lelia Gale Hayzlett, 72, of Chester, VA passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021. Born in Hopewell, VA she was the daughter of the late Robert Clifford and Thelma Lee Taylor Dawson; and was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert Stephen Dawson. Ms. Hayzlett retired from Sun Chemical after 30 years of dedicated service. She enjoyed her time spent with friends at the Bellwood Flea Market for many years. Lelia will be remembered by her family as a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and friend. Ms. Hayzlett is survived by her two children, Rodney Nelson Hayzlett and Janice Lynn Hayzlett; three grandchildren, Brandon Neil Hayzlett, Ryan Nelson Hayzlett and Adam Lee Hayzlett; and her four-legged fur baby, Candy. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Bermuda Memorial Park, Chester, VA.
