Leila Lamm

Leila Bailey Lamm, 90, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 in Hopewell Health Care Center. Mrs. Lamm was born in Claremont, VA and had been a lifelong resident of Hopewell. She was a member of St. John?s Episcopal Church and a retired registered nurse, having retired from the Hopewell School System in 1950. Mrs. Lamm was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. and Winnie Dillard Bailey. She is survived by her husband, George B. Lamm, Sr. of Prince George, two sons, George B. Lamm, Jr. of Richmond, Thomas E. Lamm of Prince George, one grandson, George Benton Lamm, III of Richmond, two sisters, Rosalie Brantley of Skaneateles, NY and Virginia Osteen of Hendersonville, NC. Friends may call at the residence. A funeral service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2005 at 2:00 PM in John?s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Bruce Bevans. Rector officiating. Interment will be in Claremont Cemetery, Claremont, VA.
