Lena "Betty" Barricks Chenault

Lena “Betty” Barricks Chenault, of Colonial Heights, VA passed away on Friday, January 12, 2018. Born in Petersburg, VA she was the daughter of the late Norman Edward and Edith Marks Barricks; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Barricks Stark; and a brother, Norman Edward Barricks, Jr. Betty was a member of the American Legion Post #284 Ladies Auxiliary and was currently employed by Computer Resource Team where she tested software for the Supreme Court of Virginia. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Jerry Chenault; two sons, Donald Chenault and Jason Chenault and wife, Terri; three granddaughters, Gabriella, Johanna and Lillian Chenault; a brother-in-law, Lawrence Stark; one sister-in-law, Jane Kitchel; three nieces, Ann Poythress, Melinda Martin and Sharon Partee; and two nephews, Brian and Matthew Kitchel. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
