Lena Tew Thomasson

Lena Catherine Tew Thomasson, 95, of Hopewell, passed away on Thursday, July 7, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She was a successful self-employed business woman. Mrs. Thomasson is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Lottie Tew; husband, J.G. â??Jackâ? Thomasson; son, Jack Wade Thomasson; a granddaughter, Jennifer Enneking Wallace; a sister, Mamie Moon Vaughan; and a brother, Luby Tew. She is survived by, her daughter, Kitty T. Enneking of Hopewell; grandchildren, Denise Saunders and husband, Scott of Virginia Beach, Susan Enneking of Colonial Heights, Mary Catherine Campbell of Charlotte, North Carolina; great grandchildren, Robert Wallace, Sam Saunders, Rachael Saunders, Nicole Thomasson, Bo Saunders, and Laura Wallace; daughter-in-law, Mary Jean Thomasson; as well as many nieces and nephews and other family and friends. The service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, July 11, 2011 at First Baptist Church in Hopewell, with visitation to follow until 5:00 PM, and the Rev. Jeff Raymond officiating. A Committal Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Park in Chester.
