Leon Ray Romig

April 29, 1931 — October 6, 2017

Leon Ray Romig, 86, of Enon passed away on October 6, 2017. He was a born in Gilbertsville, PA the son of the late Dewey G. and Mamie Kemp Romig. Mr. Romig was retired from Bridgestone Tire, attended St. James Catholic Church in Hopewell and was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association. He is survived by his wife Catherine G. Romig; his children, Gary Romig and wife, Winnie, Cynthia Mazierski and husband, John, Christine Nash and husband, Bob, Cathy Bailey and husband, Rob, Glenn Romig and wife, Karen; twelve grandchildren, Carissa, Michael, Lindsey, Blake, Alexa, Robert, Ryan, Caitlin, Tyler, Shane, Kalie and Dayton; five great-grandchildren, Brianna, Kinsley, Emma, Hailey and Grayson. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Arnold Romig and his sister, Arlene Romig. The family will receive friends at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 11th. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. James Catholic Church, 510 W. Poythress St., Hopewell, VA, 23860, on Thursday, October 12th at 1:00 p.m. with interment to follow in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
