Leon Stanley

Leon Stanley, 76, of Chester, passed away on Wednesday November 16, 2016. Leon was preceded in death by his parents, Orison and Olva Howard Stanley; and his brother, Nelson Stanley. Leon served his country proudly in the Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Hercules after 36 years of service as a pipe fitter. Leon is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Janet Stanley; children, Jeffrey Stanley and his wife, Joanne, Sandra Barlow-Buisset and her husband, Anthony, Debra Vaughan and her husband, Daniel; grandchildren, Timothy, Meghan, Victoria, Aaron, Chase, David; brother, Douglas Stanley and his wife, Betty; sister, Reba Ford, Irene Hinkle and her husband, James; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 4pm to 6pm on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home.
