Leonard Arnold Sturm, Sr.

Leonard Arnold Sturm, Sr., 79, of Prince George, VA passed away on Wednesday, February 5, 2020. Born in Iowa, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy Anderson Sturm; and was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Joyce Ann Sturm; and his daughter, Amy Jo Sturm. Mr. Sturm was retired from the United States Army and faithfully served his country during Vietnam. He is survived by his four sons, Lenny Sturm, Jr. and wife, Jeri, Dustin Sturm and wife, Vickie, Jason Sturm and wife, Donna and Greg Sturm and wife, Brandy; nine grandchildren, Delaney, Dawson, Kayleigh, Victoria, Amy Jo, Corbin, Shauna, Ciara, and Andrew. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 10, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment with full military honors will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia, 10300 Pridesville Rd. Amelia Court House, VA 23002. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
