Letcher Graham

Letcher Allen Graham, age 78, of Richmond, VA., passed away Tuesday, June 1, 2010. He was born in Roanoke, VA, the son of the late John Wesley and Clennie Earles Graham. Mr. Graham was also preceded in death by his wife, Geraline S. Graham. He served as a Master Sergeant in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a retired Lt. Col. Virginia State Trooper. Mr. Graham was a member of the Masonic Lodge for over 50 years. He is survived by his daughter, Sally Graham Martin and husband, Hilton of Warrenton, VA; a son, David A. Graham and wife, Cameron of Richmond, VA; his grandchildren, Mary Forrest Graham and Jack Graham; two brothers, Thurman Graham and wife, Loretta of Bristol, TN, and William Graham and wife, Iris of Roanoke, VA; and a sister-in-law, Vieva S. Clary of Martinsville, VA. A funeral service will take place at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends following the ceremony. Committal services and interment will follow on Saturday, June 5, at 1 p.m. in the Fair View Cemetery 3300 Melrose Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24017.
