Letitia Manuel

Letitia V. Manuel, 80, of Chester, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. She was a retired supervisor of food service for the Petersburg Public Schools and a member of Chester United Methodist Church, Red Hat Society, Chesterâ??s Womenâ??s Club, Joy Singers, and the Wesleyan Service Group. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack Manuel and her son, Chip Manuel. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Payne and husband, Tom; Grandchildren, Wil, Samantha, Meaghan; Best friend, Jo Kiser ; Sisters, Bettye Randolph and husband, Dick, Jayne Jackson, and husband Jimmie, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Chester United Methodist Church, 12132 Percival Street in Chester, Virginia, on Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 9:00 am, with a fellowship brunch immediately following the service. Interment will be at 11:15 am in Sunset Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chester United Methodist Church. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
