Lewis Collins

Lewis O. Collins, age 63, of Jarratt, VA, died on Monday, October 27, 2008. He was born in Richmond, VA, the son of the late Orice O. and Frances Beasley Collins. Mr. Collins was retired from Dupont after 38 years or service. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and outdoorsman, and a member of the Last Chance Hunt Club of Jarratt. Mr. Collins is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Linda L. Collins; children, Tracie C. Goldman and husband, Bryan of Spartanburg, SC, Christina C. Evans and husband Brenton, of Richmond, VA, and Orice O. Collins, II of Richmond; three grandchildren, Elijah and Maxwell Goldman, and Gabriel Evans; a sister, Mary F. Tincher and husband, Gordon of Richmond; and a brother, Leonard Collins and wife, Peggy of Collinsville, VA. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, October 30, 2008 from 12 to 2 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. A private ceremony will follow at a later date.
