Lewis Wheeler

Lewis Wayne Wheeler, 64, of Prince George County, was born September 12, 1945 in Petersburg, Virginia and passed away September 12, 2009 at Chippenham Medical Center. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents Perry Alston & Mary Traylor Wheeler, and his brothers William Alston & Rolliner Wesley â??Ronnieâ? Wheeler. He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Linda Lamberson Wheeler; his children, Rebecca Wheeler Haydt & her husband Bryant, Trudy Wheeler Hayes & her husband Brian, Perry Wayne Wheeler & his wife Serena; and the light of his life, his grandchildren Hunter, Caitlin and Logan Haydt, Austin & Bryson Hayes, Troy Cimburke and Jeremy Perkinson. He also leaves behind many loyal friends including Royce Branch and Frank Solesbee. Wayne was retired from the Park 500 Division of Phillip Morris after 29 years of dedicated service. He was a long time member of 7 Pines Hunt Club in Southampton County where he also had many cherished friends and memories. The family will receive friends at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T.Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Monday September 14, 2009 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday September 15, 2009 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Ivan Perkinson Jr., Officiating.
